Getting Started
Makai helps you track waypoint timing during flight. Before departure, enter your waypoint enroute times from your flight plan. After takeoff, enter your actual time off the ground and the app will calculate your waypoint estimates in real time.
Common Questions
How do I enter waypoints?
On the main screen, tap the "+" button to add a new waypoint. Enter the waypoint name and your planned enroute time. You can add as many waypoints as your flight plan requires.
How do the alarms work?
Makai can alert you when you're approaching a waypoint, when you've reached it, and 10 minutes after passing it. You can customize which alarms are active in the app settings.
Can I adjust estimates in flight?
Yes. Use the increment/decrement buttons next to any waypoint to make quick adjustments while airborne.
